Dichterliebe by Robert Schumann is one of the great song cycles of the German Romantic tradition. In sixteen songs set to poetry by Heinrich Heine, love and nature are given voice in all their shades and transformations. On this occasion, the cycle is performed by tenor Door Van Bergen and pianist Jef Kolacny, two emerging young artists on the Belgian music scene.
