Sarah de Koning is a poet, Natasha Pirard works with electronic music. In autumn 2025, both released new work: De Koning made her debut with Tekstielen (Querido), a poetry collection that pushes language to its limits, revealing both its seductive and intimate, as well as its deceptive sides. Pirard’s second album Fernande, Cecile (DEEWEE) is a tribute to her grandmother and mother, an exploration of memory and remembrance. Their work meets in a shared fascination with women’s voices: how they are shaped, passed on, remembered, and perceived. During Whispering Leaves, they weave together spoken word and musical performance into a fluid dialogue.
